Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Twin CV (twincv.com) collects, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it. The short version: we collect what is needed to build and serve your AI twin — and your data stays yours. Last updated: 31 July 2026.
What we collect
- Account data: the email address you register with.
- CV content: what you put into the CV's eight sections — profile, skills, work experience, languages, education, certificates, projects and extras — whether typed in conversation with the assistant or parsed from an uploaded PDF or DOCX.
- Visitor chat messages: what visitors write to your twin on your public page, kept so you can review your chat history.
- Technical logs: basic request and error logs used to keep the service secure and running.
Why we collect it
To build and serve your twin: saving and displaying your CV, generating your twin's answers, running the AI tools (ATS compatibility score, cover-letter generator, job-description matcher), showing your chat history, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell your data.
AI processing
To generate responses — your twin's answers, the assistant's replies, and the output of the AI tools — your CV content and the relevant conversation are sent to third-party language-model providers, strictly to produce that response. We do not use your content to train models of our own, and we do not sell your data.
Cookies and analytics
We use the cookies required to sign you in and keep your session alive. Non-essential cookies and analytics run only if they are enabled.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual entries, your whole CV, or your account at any time; deleting removes that content from the service.
Your public page
What you publish on your twin page is visible to its visitors, and your twin will talk about it. Publish only what you are comfortable having seen.
